Mystery Partner Project
The Fifth Graders will work on a Mystery Partner project to reveal who they are to their Kindergarten partners. Fifth graders will write four clues about themselves - each clue with a matching graphic is entered using Powerpoint on its own flap of a folding square. The answer is entered on a hidden tab beneath the folded square. The Kindergarten partner (with a teacher's assistance) will open one flap at a time, trying to guess who their partner is based on the clues.

Additionally, I'd like the students to begin learning "how to learn online". You can learn almost anything online these days. It amazes me how many "how to videos" are available. I'll demonstrate to the students how I approach these videos. I typically watch the entire video through the first time. Then I watch it again, but pause after each step. Once I've completed that step, I watch the next step. |
